Hole 16 - 156 yards

The 16th hole at Turnberry is taken from the heroic school of golf design and features an all-or-nothing tee shot over the pond. However, the hole does not have bunkers to protect it, allowing golfers the chance for recovery if they clear the pond but fail to find the putting surface.

“At this point in the round I felt players could be called upon to hit an exacting shot,” designer Cam Tyers says. “It isn’t as if they haven’t had time to warm up.”
