Hole 5 - 152 yards

Initially conceived to play in the opposite direction, the fifth hole plays over a large pond and can be played from two distinctive tee boxes which dramatically alter the angle of approach. One of only a couple of holes at Turnberry that require a significant forced carry, the 5th hole sports two bunkers, one to the left and one between the pond and the green, that help define the putting surface.
